In Beneath a Native Sky a young man struggles with what’s true and what’s not true, with what’s right and what’s not right. It’s spring 2025. Sam Armstrong trashes his house and fights with the police as he’s being evicted from his home and forced to leave Flagstaff, Arizona.

He desperately wants to feel good about himself and be regarded with favor by others. He doesn’t and he isn’t. He believes his problem is that he doesn’t have enough money or power. Sam and a partner try to steal some gold buried on Native lands. Sam’s partner is murdered. While Sam works to clear his name, he falls in love with a Native woman.

Just when it looks as if he will succeed, some businessmen discover the gold. They are going to take it and destroy the traditional Native way of life. What should Sam do? What can he do?
