Can’t buy Love

What we want most can’t be Bought
Nobody owns the robin’s song,
the sunshine, the flower’s beauty,
or the ancient forest’s majesty

But we can get pretty darn close
We can be a ranger on the Serengeti
We can live on the coast of Costa Rica
We can have a home full of flowers in Seattle

Yet, close isn’t close enough
All in all, things still aren’t okay
Death rattles our peace of mind
Where is that place where we cross-over without going

Where is the moment where everything is super?
That moment is being in love and being loved.
Love is close enough
and it’s not for sale
